Prep Time 5 minutes mins
Total Time 5 minutes mins
- 1 cup 250 mL 2% plain low-fat Greek yogurt
- 8 oz. 250 g strawberries (approximately 6–8 berries), stems removed and divided
- ¾ cup 175 mL powdered sugar
- ½ tbsp 7 mL granulated sugar
- 8 oz. 250 g low-fat cream cheese (Neufchatêl), softened
- 2 tsp 10 mL vanilla extract
- Optional for serving: vanilla wafer cookies graham crackers, pound cake, or assorted fresh fruit
Slice about 2 oz. (60 g) of the strawberries—approximately 2 to 3 berries—then quarter-turn and slice again; place them into a small bowl and combine with the granulated sugar, setting aside.
Puree the remaining 6 oz. (190 g) of strawberries using a food processor until smooth, then transfer the mixture to a large bowl.
Process the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until the mixture becomes smooth and well blended. Add this cream cheese blend to the strawberry puree and stir thoroughly.
Gently fold in the Greek yogurt until the consistency is uniform. Spoon the completed dip into a serving bowl and garnish the surface with the sugared sliced strawberries.
Serve immediately with your choice of graham crackers, vanilla wafers, pound cake slices, or fresh fruit.
