Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup diced green onions
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes garnish
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 8 oz lump crab meat thoroughly drained and checked for shells
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley garnish
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper optional

Instructions

  • Set the oven to preheat at 375°F (190°C). In a mixing bowl, thoroughly blend together the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until the texture is uniformly smooth. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and if using, cayenne pepper, ensuring all seasonings are evenly distributed. Gently incorporate the shredded cheddar, grated Parmesan, and chopped green onions. Carefully fold in the crab meat and lemon juice, mixing just enough to maintain the integrity of the crab chunks. Transfer the dip mixture into a greased baking dish, smoothing the surface evenly. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the dip is heated through and bubbling around the edges. Remove from the oven and top with diced tomatoes and chopped parsley. Serve hot with bread, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

Refrigerate any remaining dip in an airtight container for up to three days. To reheat, warm in a 350°F oven for 15 to 20 minutes. As an alternative to crab, shrimp or lobster can be used.
