Ingredients
  

  • ½ tbsp freshly chopped parsley
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • 400 g whole white mushrooms cleaned and patted dry
  • ¼ cup cubed cream cheese
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • ½ cup heavy cream 33% fat content
  • 1 tbsp Italian herb seasoning
  • ½ tsp fine salt

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter with olive oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, then sauté the garlic and mushrooms until they soften and develop color, approximately 5 minutes. Adjust the heat to medium, incorporate the cream cheese, and stir gently until it fully dissolves into the mixture. Lower the heat further to medium-low and blend in the parmesan, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Continue to simmer gently for about 5 minutes, stirring regularly to ensure even consistency. Conclude by removing from the stove and garnishing with chopped parsley prior to serving.
