Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls

A delightful no-bake indulgence, these chocolate Rice Krispie balls combine creamy, melted chocolate with the crisp texture of cereal and gooey marshmallows. Perfect for a quick snack or a sweet treat suitable for all ages.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 8 ounces semi sweet chocolate 225g
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Melt the chocolate gradually in a heavy-bottomed saucepan over low to medium heat. Once fully liquefied, incorporate the vanilla extract. Stir in the mini marshmallows and continue mixing until they are thoroughly melted into the chocolate. Remove from the heat and immediately fold in the Rice Krispie cereal, ensuring an even coating. Shape the mixture into six compact balls, pressing them firmly. Set them onto a parchment-lined surface and refrigerate until firm.

Notes

Use low heat and frequent stirring while melting to prevent scorching the chocolate. Refrigeration for 15 to 20 minutes allows the treats to set properly. Store at ambient temperature. Adjust ball size to your preference, with each standard ball consisting of roughly 4 tablespoons of mixture. Nutritional data is approximate per one of six servings.
