Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 rack baby back pork ribs
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 195°C (380°F). Remove the thin membrane from the underside of the rib rack and cut the rack into three even sections. Pat each section dry thoroughly with paper towels. Season both sides of the rib pieces with salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and mustard powder, ensuring an even coating. Individually wrap each portion of ribs in aluminum foil and place them snugly in the air fryer basket. Cook for 25 minutes. Take the ribs out of the air fryer and carefully remove the foil. Generously brush the barbecue sauce over all surfaces of the meat. Return the unwrapped ribs to the air fryer basket and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Let the ribs sit and rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.

Notes

To store: Keep any leftover ribs covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
To freeze: After cooling, place ribs in a shallow airtight container and freeze for up to 2 months.
